I’m Keenan, a designer and dreamer based in New York City, and the founder of Broad & Bat. My journey with creativity started when I was just a kid who loved to draw and imagine ideas that didn’t exist yet. That same spark has followed me through every stage of life,  from classrooms to design studios, shaping the way I see the world and the work I do.

Before becoming a full-time designer, I earned my degree in Childhood and Special Education. Teaching taught me how to connect with people, listen, and understand what makes something truly meaningful. Those lessons became the foundation of my design philosophy, creating things that not only look good, but feel personal, relatable, and human.

Broad & Bat was born out of that mindset, a lifelong dream to build something that blends creativity, sport, and culture into one identity. It started as a vision to create designs that celebrate fandom, nostalgia, and community, but it’s also a reminder to chase what drives you, even when others don’t see the vision yet.

I’ve always believed dreamers see the world differently. We imagine things before they exist, and we keep going when others tell us we can’t. Broad & Bat is proof of that, of turning “what if” into “why not.” It’s for the ones who stay true to their passion, who believe in the work, and who want to give something back along the way.

Because at the end of the day, this brand isn’t just mine. It’s for anyone who’s ever been told “maybe someday,” and decided to make someday happen.
